Summary

Description In January 2010 a massive earthquake struck Haiti, killing over 300,000 people and making 1.5 million people homeless. The disaster was the worst in the history of a country that has been ravaged by conflict and crisis. Two years after the earthquake struck, the ruins of the Cathedral in the centre of Port au Prince offered a reminder of the tragedy of that fateful morning. (Eoghan Rice / Trocaire)
