English: The picture is a Greek Catholic icon of the archangel Gabriel. The angel holds a white lily in his right hand referring to the scene of the annunciation. The icon was painted in the end of the 18th century as part of the iconostasis of the Greek Catholic Cathedral of Hajdúdorog, Hungary. Gabriel is depicted on the southern Deacons' Door.
Magyar: A kép Gábriel arkangyal ikonját ábrázolja. Az angyal jobb kezében egy fehér liliomot tart, amely az angyali üdvözlet jelenetére utal. Az ikont a 18. század végén festették, a hajdúdorogi görög katolikus székesegyház ikonosztázára. Ez az ikon díszíti az ikonosztáz déli diakónusi kapuját.
