Description
English: The sculpture Flight in Mind by Belgian artist Olivier Strebelle was damaged in the 2016 terrorist attacks at Brussels Airport. After some months of restoration the sculpture was relocated to an outdoor area of the airport. It is seen here on the 1st anniversary commemorations of the terrorist attacks.
Français : La sculpture Flight in Mind de l’artiste belge Oliver Strebelle a été endommagée lors des attentats terroristes à l'aéroport de Bruxelles-National en 2016. Après des mois de restauration, la sculpture a reçu une place d’honneur dans un petit parc créé sur les terrains de l’aéroport à cette occasion. La photo montre l’inauguration du parc avec la sculpture lors du 1er anniversaire de commémoration des attentats terroristes.
Nederlands: De sculptuur Flight in Mind van de Belgische artiest Olivier Strebelle werd beschadigd tijdens de terroristische aanslag op Brussels Airport in 2016. Na een restauratie van een aantal maanden werd de sculptuur verplaatst naar een buitenterrein van de luchthaven in een speciaal daarvoor aangelegd parkje. De foto toont hier het park en de sculptuur die beiden ingehuldigd werden naar aanleiding van de 1ste herdenkingsverjaardag van de terroristische aanslagen.
