The outcomes of Lausanne III were captured and published in ''The Cape Town Commitment''. Issues that were addressed include evangelism in [[Orality|oral cultures]], mission populations in [[diaspora]], and the emergent [[Megacity|megacities]] of the world. The title of ''The Cape Town Commitment'' was carefully chosen to communicate that it is not a declaration or a manifesto, but a commitment for the Lausanne Movement to fulfill, and has since become the road map for Lausanne.<ref name=":3" />
