====Influence on new religious movements====

[[Neo-Advaita]] is a [[new religious movement]] based on a popularised, western interpretation of Advaita Vedānta and the teachings of [[Ramana Maharshi]].{{sfn|Lucas|2011}} Notable neo-advaita teachers are [[H. W. L.
