===Crown of Peace event in Washington DC===

Key organizers of the event included [[George Augustus Stallings Jr.]], a former [[Roman Catholic]] priest who had been married by Moon, and Michael Jenkins, the president of the [[Unification Church of the United States]] at that time.<ref name="babington" /> Rep.
