The three inhabited [[Pacific Ocean|Pacific]] [[Territories of the United States|U.S. territories]] ([[American Samoa]], [[Guam]] and the [[Northern Mariana Islands]]) are sometimes considered part of the Western United States. American Samoa is in [[Polynesia]] in the [[South Pacific Ocean]], while Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands are in the [[Mariana Islands]] in the western [[North Pacific Ocean]].
