There are four [[state school|public]] [[school board]]s that provide [[primary education|elementary]] and [[secondary education]] in Toronto, the [[Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir]], the [[Conseil scolaire Viamonde]] (CSV), the [[Toronto Catholic District School Board]] (TCDSB), and the [[Toronto District School Board]] (TDSB). CSV and TDSB are [[secular education|secular]] public school boards, whereas MonAvenir and TCDSB are [[separate school|separate]] public school boards. CSV and MonAvenir are French [[first language]] school boards, whereas TCDSB and TDSB are English first language school boards.
