In 2011 74.3% of Viennese households were connected with broadband, 79% were in possession of a computer. === Vienna Central Station ===

The station is served by 1,100 trains with 145,000 passengers. There is a shopping center with approximately 90 shops and restaurants.

===Smart City Wien===
The mayor of Vienna announced the ''Smart City Wien'' initiative in March 2011 after the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund decided to fund a project under the same heading. ''[[Seestadt Aspern]]'' in Vienna's [[Donaustadt]] district is one of the largest urban expansion projects of Europe.
