Products at Walmart Neighborhood Market stores have the same prices as those at Walmart's larger supercenters. Neighborhood Market stores expanded slowly at first as a way to fill gaps between Walmart Supercenters and Discount Stores in existing markets. In its first 12 years, the company opened about 180 Walmart Neighborhood Markets.
