Grassley sought a sixth term in the 2010 election. He was challenged by Democrat [[Roxanne Conlin]], a former [[United States Attorney|United States attorney]], and [[Libertarian Party (United States)|Libertarian]] John Heiderscheit, an attorney.

Grassley was reelected with 718,215 votes to Conlin's 371,686.
